Hello everyone!
I’m Huaihou from the Department of Bioengineering, currently running for the position of Sponsorship Officer at CGCU.
Sponsorship for a society is as crucial as the respiratory system is to our bodies; we need a constant influx of fresh air to survive, just as a society requires established industry leaders to provide ample funding for our activities and inspire us, which is vital for long-term growth.
In this role, I aim to expand our sponsorship network to cover a wider range of industries, making them accessible to students from all engineering disciplines, while also aligning with our college’s sustainability goals and promoting accountable actions.
I have been actively involved within and outside our community, serving as the Wellbeing representative for my year and organizing networking events within our department throughout the year. Additionally, I have partnered with friends across Europe to initiate a student consulting business, gaining valuable exposure to the tech industry. Currently, I manage a LinkedIn network of over 800 connections and aim to leverage this platform to establish further contacts with potential sponsors, enriching CGCU both financially and resourcefully.
