William Chen

I am running for CGCU Vice President. As an Officer Cadet in the University of London Officer Training Corps, I have built up the skills necessary for leadership and organisation. I have also hosted and planned several large-scale events such as Chinese New Year dinners and guest lecturers at my previous school.

Having been at Imperial, I have been active attending different clubs and societies within the Engineering departments and have been able to engage with students from all Engineering disciplines. I have felt that CGCU is a shadow of its former self and the events attendance have been low. I want to encourage a more social constituent union and have more events where students are encouraged to attend and that events will be subsidised.
