Beth Jones

Hi everyone! I am Beth, a third year geology student and I am running to be the departmental academic rep.

This year I have been the year 3 academic rep and have really enjoyed every part of the job. I have loved taking everyone's feedback and presenting it to the lecturers, and hopefully creating beneficial change in the department (like getting the third years designated computer rooms for their independent projects!).

As departmental academic rep, I would like to:

• Continue and build upon the work I have already done to ensure positive change is maintained throughout the year.
• Ensure that everyone feels represented
• Make sure that all methods of feedback are maintained
• Introduce exam feedback post exam weeks for people to vent concerns/provide feedback
• Politely, but directly, present all feedback given to us so every voice is heard

Already being a member of the rep team, I am knowledgeable about what is expected of everyone, how everything runs, and the communication methods between student and staff.
