Hi everyone! I'm Ingrid and I am the current Departmental Representative, re-running for next year! I aim to continue to relieve any difficulties you may be facing, and make this difficult degree enjoyable!

Having been heavily involved with CivSoc and working with the department, I am very familiar with the way the department is run. This year, I have focused on accomplishing the following:

• Increased transparency with exam results, especially around the procedures of scaling.
• Advocated for more Python usages and teaching (which will begin this October for incoming first years!)
• Chaired staff-student meetings and relayed all student feedback/ comments from anonymous surveys to the department, including issues around module and coursework difficulties, etc.
• I hope to continue representing all students to the best of my ability. I am currently working towards advocating for more exam feedback to all years and tackling the issue of late feedbacks for coursework.

I strongly encourage anybody to please feel free to reach out to me regarding anything. I will always listen to any issues you want to raise and take them seriously - message me on Teams or stop me in Skempton and speak your mind! I will give all it takes to ensure your voices are heard, and hopefully, translate into action from the department.
