Hi everyone! I’m Kerry, a 2nd year Design Engineering student running for Equipment Manager.
Over my 5 years in photography, I got to experience in various fields—from portraiture, landscape, stills, to wildlife, cinematography, macrophotography, and more. This hands-on background also means I am familiar with a wide range of camera bodies, lenses, lights, along with other tools and accessories. As an engineering student, I'm also enjoy crafting creative solutions for camera accessories or equipment organisation with the skills I have.
With years of experience in the highschool media centre, I’m confident that I can maintain the studio well, putting the set and its equipment to good use. I’d love to help the committee to organise more events, making contributions with my devotion and professional skills.
I’d also love to help the current darkroom manager in organising and maintaining the darkroom. Although I have limited experience with film, I’m always eager to learn more about it.
Lastly, running for Equipment Manager will a great opportunity for me to know more great people at photosoc. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and learn from others whenever possible.
