Ming Guo Foo

Nature and Wildlife: Birds Coordinator

Hi guys, Ming Guo here. You may also know me by my initials, MG!

I'm an avid birdwatcher & photographer. My journey in birding actually started here at Imperial last year, where I picked it up at Hyde Park (since there were also so many birds around there!)

As bird coordinator, I would try to have:

1. Regular fortnightly weekend birding sessions (these will be longer trips, maybe out of London, PUFFINS?!; we could consider camping somewhere and setting up a bird hide too!)

2. Regular weekly birding sessions (maybe once a week on a Wednesday morning/evening)

3. Termly talks with various experts about birds, photography, and such

4. Maybe friendly bird photography competitions (mostly to appreciate everyone's shots, and gobble on snacks haha)

Thanks for reading! Please give me your vote, and I hope to see you at a birding session soon!
