Vedika Jhunjhunwala

My experience in a bloodworks laboratory, including RNA/DNA extraction, has made me curious about the science behind haematological diseases and how research translates into patient care. I want to bring that curiosity to HaemSoc and help others explore the subject beyond lectures.

As Academic Officer, I’d love to introduce interactive case-based sessions, accessible revision resources and talks connecting laboratory research with clinical haematology. I also want to encourage peer learning and make academic events welcoming to students at every stage, including those just discovering their interest in the specialty. My goal is to make learning haematology engaging, collaborative and relevant to our future clinical practice.
