Zoe Xu

Hi, I’m Zoe from China. I'm currently a year 1 student and have played Sichuan-style mahjong for over 10 years, and I enjoy exploring the many regional rule variations of Sichuan mahjong, especially Xuezhan Daodi (Bloody Battle to the End). This inspired me to become a Technical Instructor, to introduce mahjong to new players and spread the happiness of Sichuan mahjong.

I can help new players with the beginner fundamentals: keeping track of the many rule variations, choosing their missing suit and which tiles to swap, calculating scores, and following table etiquette. I also have experience teaching friends to play mahjong from scratch, and I can share higher-level strategies such as swapping 2-5 tiles, tile counting, and defensive play.
