Energy: Design Project Manager (Renewables)

Hi, I'm Justin Nakamura, a second-year Mechanical Engineering student with a strong interest in the energy sector, particularly renewable energy, infrastructure and the energy transition.

Having worked on engineering projects both at Imperial and during industry placements, I'm keen to help deliver meaningful opportunities for students to engage with the energy industry.

If elected, I would focus on:

Industry engagement: Maintain strong relationships with industry partners and help ensure projects offer valuable, real-world experience.
Project coordination: Facilitate communication between companies and participating teams, organise meetings and keep projects running smoothly.
Student experience: Ensure teams receive clear guidance, regular feedback and the support needed to make the most of their projects.

Ultimately, I want to help make Imperial Energy's projects both rewarding for students and valuable for our industry partners.
