Psychiatry: Vice President (Events)

Hi everyone! I’m a 2nd year Medical Biosciences student and currently Imperial Psychiatry Society’s PsychStart Lead. I’m standing to help deliver engaging events and support the President in making our society welcoming, organised and active.

I will bring my experience of both being a PsychStart mentee and a PsychStart Lead to offer events you feel comfortable getting involved in, whether you are considering psychiatry as a career or simply curious about mental health.

If elected, I would focus on:

Making opportunities accessible: Practical sessions on mentoring, research and careers, welcoming students from medicine, Medical Biosciences and other disciplines.
Building a friendly community: Informal socials and opportunities to meet others who share an interest in psychiatry.
Delivering events reliably: Working with the committee to coordinate speakers and bookings, communicate plans early and use member feedback to shape future activities.
