Our kits suck, but I intend to change that. Like many of us tax-paying members who expected to be able to rely on club kits, I know the frustration behind scouring for a weapon in a sea of broken blades, or digging restlessly for ONE working lame. If we had ONE working épée to give to Royal Holloway last fixture, what do we have ourselves? Having been there at armoury and seen the exact state of our inventory, I know exactly what we need, and I promise you:

• Commitment to regular focused sessions where we address YOUR kit concerns with real hands-on fixing work, from blades to spools to wire issues.
• Representing your needs by tracking issues, so I can push for new orders with real numbers and demand.
• And working closely with the committee to ensure we get the best equipment possible, deserving of our huge budget.

Even as a fresher, I've been picking up all sorts of odd jobs, not because I have to, but because I love our sport and our club! So if you're as serious about this as I am, vote for me, Binh Khang Nguyen, to make us a comeback, so WE, yes éspéecially WE, can train the way we deserve, foil our opponents' plans at each bout, and saber the taste of victory at every fixture.
