Maxell Suharsono

“Bringing Indonesia closer, one event at a time.”

Hi everyone! I’m Maxell, and I’m running to be your Indonesian Society Events Officer.

I want to take on this role because I believe Indonesian Society should be more than just a place to meet people from the same background. It should be a community where everyone feels welcome, connected, and proud of Indonesian culture.

If elected, my focus will be on creating fun, inclusive, and memorable events throughout the year — from casual socials and game nights to cultural celebrations, food events, and collaborations with other societies.

I also want to make sure that our events reflect the diversity of Indonesia, giving everyone the opportunity to share and experience different cultures, traditions, food, and stories from across the country.

Most importantly, I want to listen to you. I want to create events based on what you actually want, while making it easier for everyone — whether you’re Indonesian, Indonesian-adjacent, or simply interested in Indonesia — to meet new people and feel part of the community.

My goal is simple: more opportunities to connect, more reasons to come together, and more memories to take home.

🇮🇩 Vote Maxell for Events Officer — let’s make Indonesian Society feel like home.
