Hey, I'm Isa and I'm a third year BMB student!

Third and fourth year bring a lot of change, meaning that for a lot of us, we’re not with our cohort anymore. After two years of lectures and labs together, it can definitely feel isolating.

If I'm elected, I want to make sure we have regular events to see each other again. I'm thinking casual socials, like coffee catch-ups and termly reunions. Just a chance to spend time together and remember you’ve got your BMB people!

I also want to run more BMB-focused careers sessions, with advice from upper years who've been through placement and management year and can share their experiences. When we've had these sorts of events in the past, I've always learned something new.

Placement and management year are a big step, and I want to make sure everyone still feels like they've their BMB community to fall back on!
