Sasha Williams
I’m running to be your MSc Future Power Networks representative because I want everyone in our cohort to have a say in how our programme develops.
If elected, I will focus on three things:
1. Listening to the whole cohort.
I will regularly ask for feedback and make it easy to share concerns or suggestions, whether in person or privately. I will represent our cohort’s views fairly, including those of students who may be less comfortable speaking up.
2. Representing your priorities.
I will bring our feedback to Student-Staff Committee meetings and work with staff on practical improvements. Whether the issue concerns workload, assessment guidance, learning resources or another aspect of the course, I will take the time to understand it and communicate it clearly. I will also share feedback on what is working well.
3. Following through.
I will keep you updated on the issues raised, the responses received and any agreed actions. When something needs attention before the next meeting, I will raise it with the relevant staff promptly.
My commitment is to be approachable, prepared and reliable, and to make sure that the feedback you share is represented and followed up.
