Electrical & Electronic Engineering (PG): MSc Analogue and Digital Integrated Circuit Design

The nature of our master's degree gives us very limited time to seize all available opportunities at this world-leading university in earth's greatest city. I am concious of that, and also of the fact that most feedback is only translated into improvements for the subsequent academic year, rendering it almost useless for our cohort.
I thus want to focus not only on long-term improvements, but also on instant improvements and frequent feedback collection to ensure we all enjoy a smooth and memorable masters experience!

My main proposals:

Help stop students from falling behind by ensuring all lecturers have appropriately-timed and well-announced office hours

Better facilities in the MSc breakout room; fridges and hot water.

More student-staff engagement by running a student-staff games afternoon once per semester; an idea (photo attached) that has succeeded at my previous university in giving both students and lecturers a break from serious academic work, boosting wellbeing and lecture participation.

Frequent feedback collection: On top of the option to message/talk to me about any concerns at any point, I will organise weekly or fortnightly surveys, whichever students prefer.

Your Ideas: I am running to be YOUR representative! If you have any ideas that you think should be added to this manifesto, please reach out :D

As course rep, student trustee, and EDI committee member at Liverpool, I’ve turned student feedback into action alongside staff; experience I’ll bring to representing you!
