After two years of Chemical Engineering, I believe we have all had our fair share of ups and downs. I am running to be your Year 3 Academic Rep because I want to help maximise the ups, minimise the downs, and optimise our shared experience to be a little easier, a little less stressful and a little more enjoyable.

I want to be that someone you feel comfortable approaching. For those who already know me, welcome back! And for those who don't know me yet, welcome! I’d love to get to know you. Whatever your concern may be, drop me a message or stop me in the corridor. I'll take the time to listen and make sure your voice is heard.

Collecting feedback is one thing, making sure it goes both ways is another. I aim to ensure your concerns are communicated clearly to staff, but that their responses are also communicated back to you. Transparency is paramount to me.

As part of this cohort, I understand the struggles we’ve faced. Therefore, I'll advocate for greater clarity around examinable content, coursework deadlines and project expectations, as well as lectures being recorded properly and reliably. I'm here to speak up for you, so you don't have to do it alone.

Ultimately, I hold myself to extremely high standards and am comfortable putting in the work required to achieve them. For the last two years, I've fought hard for my degree. This year, I'd love the chance to fight for yours too.
