Materials (UG): Year Three Academic Representative

Staff can ghost my emails.
Student Office can try to hide.
Andrew can attempt to escape through the kitchenette.

I will find them.

And, more importantly, I get things to actually happen.

Last year, I pushed for improvements to the personal tutoring system, including more frequent meetings and greater structure. This involved, among other things, sending the Head of Department a five-page proposal because apparently one email was not enough. And now? Changes are actually being implemented.

I also gathered your feedback on the Biomaterials track and modules and passed it directly to the higher powers. After a truly heroic amount of persistence (including some strategic kitchenette cornering when my emails and messages were being mysteriously ignored) the department has started looking at improvements there too. So you can trust me to be terrifying when and where needed.

But the actual reason you should vote for me is simple:

I listen to you.
I take your problems seriously.
And I am annoyingly persistent about getting them fixed.

You don't need a rep who will politely forward your concerns and hope for the best. That won't get things done.

You need someone who will haunt the department until something happens. They can try to ghost me. I'll still be here.
