Isabel Rawlinson

Hi guys! I’m Isabel and I’m running for academic rep. I know firsthand how challenging mecheng can be and the struggles we’ve had to go through so far.

If you vote for me I want to be swift in communicating with module leaders about issues. As in our dmf where it can be unclear what is required I would love to work with our module leaders to help clarify all the questions that we have.

As your wellbeing rep last year I loved organising the pub crawl and want to organise more group events for our year!

As academic rep I would love to try and create a platform to connect with recent mecheng graduates, so that we can get a first hand insight on what it’s like to enter the workforce but also potentially gain help with CVs and internships. As applying for internships over and over again is a full time job in itself- and not a very fun one. So I would love to focus on a way that we can improve our chances and reduce the stress of finding internships.
