Hi everyone! My name is Doras, and I’m excited to run for Secretary of the MedTech Society.

This year, I’ve loved attending MedTech talks and events, inspired by how creativity, innovation, and practical problem-solving come together to improve healthcare. Working and talking with people from different backgrounds and courses to develop meaningful solutions has been incredibly fulfilling.

As Secretary, I want to help explore the field of MedTech at a deeper level: Alongside continuing speaker events, I want to explore how Imperial is shaping the field, how MedTech companies are built and how they survive, the roles within the research and design of medical innovation, how they are brought to market, and what the current MedTech landscape looks like. Most importantly, I want students to see that MedTech is accessible, relevant and interesting that they can contribute to. I hope to create more opportunities for students to develop ideas, gain hands-on experience, and connect with researchers, clinicians, entrepreneurs, and innovators shaping the future of healthcare.

As Secretary, I will bring novel ideas, interesting events, ensure clear communication, strong organisation, and a committee where everyone’s ideas are heard. I’m committed to bringing creativity, teamwork, and new opportunities to the society.
