Ananjan Ganguli and Ash Shaikh

Hello Opera, we are hoping to run as your Main and 24 tech directors. Both of us have had ample experience ensuring these shows take place from a tech perspective for the last few years, here are some individual credentials for you:

Ananjan:

● Has been part of the crew for main and 24 in 2023-24 and 2024-2025

● Has been tech director for both main and 24 in 2025-2026, with Urinetown undoubtedly being my favourite this year.

● Will be getting PASMA trained very soon and has worked at height almost every show

● Has loud voice

Ash:

● Has had over 7 years of experience working with the EOS lights system

● Has been part of the crew for both main and 24 in 2024 to 2025 season

● Has been lights director for main show 2025

● Very fun and easy talk to guy

As Tech directors, we will ensure shows proceed both smoothly and safely, and this includes ensuring we have an adequately trained and qualified crew. To facilitate this we will be running extra training sessions in tandem with DramSoc and MTsoc at the beginning of the year, to upskill everyone within tech to an adequate degree. We hope to foster an inclusive and involved tech crew in the coming year, and help people on stage have as much fun as possible.
