Ananya Gupta

Hi! My name is Ananya and I’m running to make AI Soc events more exciting, consistent, and genuinely useful for students.

As Google Developer Groups President, this year, I co-organised a 400-attendee hackathon, as well as regular workshops and talks on topics like quantum computing and sessions with speakers from places like Google DeepMind. That experience taught me how to bring people together, find interesting speakers and run events that students actually want to show up to.

As Head of IX Events, I want to bring that same energy to AI Soc: more consistent workshops, more talks on the latest cutting-edge AI research and more chances for students to learn directly from people working at the front of the field.

I want to make AI Soc the place where students can explore what’s next in AI, meet like-minded people, and build real skills along the way.
