Assalamu alaikum,

I’m Muhammad, and I’m running to be the next Secretary of Logistics for STEM Muslims Society.

Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to STEMM in different ways, including helping at the ELM science fair, running a LaTeX tutorial for students, and serving as the Physics Academic Representative last year. Through these experiences, I’ve seen firsthand the amount of organisation and teamwork required behind the scenes to make events and initiatives successful. They also showed me how valuable STEMM is in supporting Muslim students both academically and professionally.

If elected, my main focus would be ensuring events are organised efficiently and run smoothly, allowing both attendees and committee members to get the most out of every opportunity STEMM provides. This includes improving coordination between committee members, helping events stay well-structured and punctual, and ensuring speakers and guests have a positive experience at our events.

I would also like to continue supporting the society’s outreach, careers and academic initiatives throughout the year. I believe strong organisation behind the scenes is what allows these events to have the greatest impact.

I’m grateful for the work previous committees have put into building STEMM, and I hope to contribute with reliability, teamwork and a sincere intention to serve the society and its members.
