Artificial Intelligence (AI): Co-Chair

AI is evolving at an unprecedented pace, from frontier foundation models to real-world deployment in startups and research labs. I believe AISoc should sit at that intersection: combining technical depth, exposure to cutting-edge research, and meaningful industry engagement.

I have previously led Google Developer Group (GDG) chapters, where I built active tech communities and organised large-scale hackathons and flagship events with sponsorship funding exceeding £80,000+. I've managed significant budgets, worked directly with companies, and delivered events at scale. These experiences give me the ambition and execution ability to take AISoc further.

As Chair, my focus will be:

Structured Workshops: Deep dives into state-of-the-art AI, including transformers, diffusion models, RLHF, and multimodal systems.
Applied AI Sessions: Hands-on focus on building and deploying real systems.
Industry Talks: Insights from leading AI labs and startups.
High-Impact Events: Company-backed hackathons and flagship networking events.
Research Paper Reading Groups: Keeping a pulse on the latest academic breakthroughs.
Startup-style Office Hours: Dedicated support and guidance for student founders.

AISoc should be more than a society that hosts talks; it should be a launchpad. Whether your goal is research, startups, or top AI labs, I want AISoc to give you the structure, network, and technical edge to succeed.

I've built communities before. Now I want to build the strongest AI community at Imperial.
