Hi Felix, I’m Evie (second year bio), and I’m running to be Social Secretary for 2026/7.

I’ve been Social media head at Felix for the last academic year(ish), and one of the best parts of working at the paper has been all the amazing people I’ve been able to meet! As social sec, I want to create more oppertunities for people from acrouss the different sections of the paper to get to know each other, through a diverse range of events. This would inclue post submission union drinks (already a Felix staple), activity based socials voted on by members, and more academic/journalism linked events, such as guest speakers or writing workshops. It would also be excting to collaberate with other London based university papers for social events. I really want this to be driven by members of the society want most, so I would love lots of input/ideas from the whole community!

In terms of experience, I am the secretary (and founder) of the Imperial femenist society and so I have alot of experiance not only in organising events, but also with dealing with the nitty gritty of union admin. As Head of Social Media, I’ve also had the opportunity to interact with people from across the paper, giving me a strong understanding of the society.
