Zaynab Choudhury

Assalamu'alaykum, We're Zaynab and Rameen, and we are incredibly excited to be running as your next Year 5 & 6 Coordinators!

​Like many of you, we have benefited immensely from MM throughout our time at university. The knowledge, guidance, and mentorship we’ve received from the incoming final years ahead of us has been invaluable. Undertaking this role is our way of directly giving back to the community that has played a part in our growth as medical students.

​We wholeheartedly believe that MM holds a vital position within the student sphere. What sets MM apart from other medical education societies is the attention given to integrating Islamic values and purpose with clinical practice. Ultimately, our main objective is to please Allah (SWT) through this role.

​We aim to maintain the incredible efforts of those who came before us by always putting students first, listening closely, and meeting the needs of our peers.

​Combined, we bring 8 years of experience working across 12 separate roles in both student and community spaces. Our skill sets complement each other, we balance and complete each other's knowledge. We have a strong, established working relationship, having collaborated closely on multiple projects in the past, including the Imperial Muslim trifecta: STEMM, MM, and ISoc.

​Having honed our communication and collaboration skills by working with multiple stakeholders, we understand what it takes to manage this role. We're fully confident in our ability to work seamlessly together to deliver an unforgettable, successful Mock Finals for the next cohort.
