A community where faith and medicine are complementary is what Muslim Medics stands for, and it is something I truly respect. As a Muslim medical student at Imperial, I understand how difficult the clinical years may be and how important it is to have a community that recognises the challenges we confront on a personal, intellectual, and spiritual level. I want to give back more because I have personally witnessed how much students depend on what Muslim Medics offers.
Being Year 2 Coordinator provided me with an intimate look at Muslim Medics' educational endeavours. I directed the BRS Mock, scheduled tutorials, and coordinated resources. As a result, I discovered that the greatest chances are found throughout the whole medical school, not only in a single year group. I can take action on that in the VP position.
As vice president, I will assist year coordinators in every year and pinpoint areas where pupils are underprivileged. In order to prepare graduating students for one of the most difficult changes in a doctor's career, I wish to start an Intro to F1 lesson series. I want Muslim medical professionals to support you throughout your whole journey, not only during tests.
Every suggestion I make is based on firsthand experience. I have overseen the logistics for the entire cohort, sought to ascertain the true needs of the students, and fulfilled obligations within a committee framework. I'm kind by nature, and I want each coordinator to know that they have a helpingh and nearby.
