We have all been told that we need to get into research early, but nobody actually shows us how. As a first year medical student, I know how daunting and exclusive this field can seem. My mission is simple: to simplify this complex field and make it accessible to everyone.

Why Me? Proven Leadership

Leading an event like the young researchers conference requires precision and strong execution. Having organised and led multiple large‑scale community events, I know how to coordinate teams, manage logistics, and deliver under pressure.

My aims for the Young Researchers Conference

If elected, I will focus on three key pillars:

Practical Skill Workshops: Moving beyond passive listening to introduce interactive sessions on navigating the publication pipeline, reading papers efficiently, and mastering abstract writing.

High Impact Networking: Creating structured, low-pressure networking environments to link students directly with active PhDs, clinicians, and academics for mentorship and project opportunities.

True Accessibility: Breaking down the complex jargon to ensure the young researchers conference is an inclusive event for students of all backgrounds
