Asalamualikum. Having worked with the Explore Islam Campaign team for nearly a year, organising talks like our recent collaboration with the i3 institute and generally becoming well accustomed to the Imperial ISOC, I'm standing for this position of Welfare and Outreach officer.

In sha Allah, my intentions are three: I intend to put in hours of work to build a robust framework for Outreach initiatives, with a particular focus on ensuring that contact with relevant organisations is sustained in the long term. I intend to leverage my connections and also build new ones in order to benefit the Imperial community and to make Imperial ISOC a force for real change in our local and global community. Finally, I intend to work with my colleagues to ensure we meet our goals on time; the more proactive we are, the more we can achieve, bi'ithnillah. May Allah give us the Tawfiq and ability to achieve all of this and may He keep us sincere, so that we may attain his pleasure in Dunya and Akhirah.
