Priya Misra

Hi everyone! I’m Priya, a second-year Chemical Engineering student, and I'm excited to run for the position of Liaison for Women in SET. Having been a part of the mentorship scheme this year, I have seen firsthand how much value this society adds to our university experience. The guidance I received was transformative, and it has inspired me to give back to this community by ensuring its internal operations are as strong and supportive as the programs themselves.

As your Liaison officer, I am ready to:

• Expand & Nurture Our Network: I will maintain strong, consistent relationships with our current sponsors while actively bringing in new partners, especially for our flagship Annual Industry Networking Event and the International Women’s Day Formal Dinner.

• Negotiate Meaningful Benefits: I want to move past standard sponsorships to secure exclusive networking events, priority recruitment access for Imperial students, and direct industry mentorship links.

• Listen to Members & Firms: I will collect regular feedback from you to target the specific firms and sectors you are most passionate about, while aligning with sponsors' diversity goals through personalised proposals.
