Aayla Mumtaz

Hi everyone, my name is Aayla and I am running to be your Pakistani Society Events Officer! Pakistani Society is more than just a society. It is a space where people can feel connected to their culture, meet new people, celebrate their identity and create memories that last beyond university. As Events Officer, my aim would be to make every event feel welcoming, exciting and meaningful.

My priority would be to make events inclusive, well-organised and accessible. I would listen to what members actually want, communicate clearly, plan ahead and make sure events feel enjoyable rather than stressful. I also want to create opportunities for freshers and new members to feel comfortable joining in, even if they do not know many people yet.

I am enthusiastic, organised and committed to making Pakistani Society active, vibrant and memorable. If elected, I will work hard to create events that strengthen our community, celebrate our culture and make everyone proud to be part of PakSoc.
