IHello , for those who don't know me yet my name is Sid and I'm running to be your 2nd XI captain.

As a member of the 2s squad over the last two years I have witnessed the highs and lows that come with playing for the 2s and the comaraderie involved with it all. Although results haven't gone our way as of recent times, I feel that there is still a huge amount of potential in the squad and with the right hand leading the way the 2s can progress and develop into a really competitive side.

Furthermore as someone that has been fortunate to captain the side on a couple occasions this season in LUSL fixtures, I feel like I already have one foot inside the door when it comes to understanding the requirements of the role, certainly when it comes to managing the side on the field.

A few of my main goals for the upcoming season are quite simple. Ensuring that the indoor varsity crown is returned to its rightful home (the IC) , that we become a strong side in all 3 departments of the game that supports each other, and finally ensuring that each and every member thoroughly enjoys their time , playing, training and attending socials with the entire squad.
