Jad Saad
Electrical Engineering: Events Officer
I'm running because I enjoy bringing people together and making university life more than just lectures and coursework.
Our course has a reputation for being a bit neeky, and while we're all here because we love engineering, I think we can build a much stronger social side as well.
My goal is simple: organise events that people actually want to attend. Whether that's networking opportunities, company visits, technical workshops, competitions, or socials, I want to create opportunities for students to meet new people, learn something useful, and enjoy their time at Imperial.
I've previously organised events for large student groups, managed budgets, coordinated teams, and worked with external organisations, so I know what it takes to run successful events.
If elected, I'll focus on creating a more connected and social EE community while still providing valuable professional and technical opportunities.
