I'm running for Secretary: the role nobody dreams about and everybody desperately needs, like a competent wicketkeeper or a pavilion at the H.

Emails you'll actually read. We've all opened a club email, seen four hundred words of grey text, and quietly closed it forever. Not on my watch. Mine will be concise, clear, and — brace yourselves — occasionally funny. No mystery, no saga. Just the facts, delivered like a well-pitched yorker: fast, on target, impossible to ignore.

Organisation? I have a spreadsheet for everything. Fixtures, availability, kit, fees, who-owes-what — all logged and findable in seconds rather than excavated from a group chat at 11pm. If it needs recording, it's recorded. If it needs chasing, it's chased.

A club runs on information, and information runs on someone organised enough to handle it. Let that be me.
