Luxsigan Vamadevan
Having spent the last two years as part of TSOC, I have developed a genuine appreciation for the community, culture, and opportunities that the society provides. Being involved at different levels of the society has only strengthened my desire to give back and help shape its future as President.
From being on the subcommittee in first year to Head of MegaMaalai this year, I have gained valuable experience working with a wide range of people and managing responsibilities to deliver many different events. More importantly however, these roles have taught me how to stay organised, communicate effectively, and stay focused on delivering the best possible experience for our members. They have given me a strong understanding of what makes TSOC and what I would need to bring to the table as President.
As President, I would work to build on the achievements of previous committees while bringing fresh ideas and ambition. I am passionate about expanding MegaMaalai and further establishing it as a standout event on the Tamil scene, but I also want to use the platform of TSOC to place a greater emphasis on our history as Tamils. TSOC has always been more than a social society, and I believe we have an opportunity with this foundation to further educate our members about both the culture and history that connects all of us.
I am committed to helping TSOC continue to grow, inspire, and bring people together, and would appreciate your support in voting me as President.
