Having been secretary for two years, I have been immersed in Big Band goings on for a while and I have a clear picture of what a successful committee should look like. I am running for chair because I care about Big Band and would like to see the society grow to new heights!

Over the next year I aim to uphold Amy's high standards and ensure that the big band experience is as good as it can be! We currently have a few gigs lined up already 👀 but I'd like to make sure that both bands have a good number of gigs throughout the year so that everyone has something to work towards. We also were not able to hold a big spring gig this year due to the great hall being out of commission, so it would be nice to be able to do one again next year.

I'd be surprised if anyone else runs, but if so I would greatly appreciate your vote 🙏
