Hi! I am Alix and I am running to be your next ICVC president.

For those of you who do not know me, I’ve been part of ICVC since joining Imperial as a fresher in 2022. Although I’ve been away for the past year on a year-in-industry, I have been an active member of the club and women’s team since 2022.

In my second year, I joined committee as an honorary member as EPIC team captain – the year when we won Club of the Year! In 2023, I was elected External Secretary, where I was responsible for merch, kits and transport... Through these roles, I have gained experience on a team, coaching recreational sessions, and on committee.

For my final year I want to finish strong and give back to the club by running for President :-)

Over the past three years I have seen the club grow and change. I’ve seen what works well within our teams, our committee, and our wider club culture — and I’ve also seen where we can improve. I want to take what I’ve learned and use it to help ICVC continue moving forward.

Here are my aims for the club:

Build a strong and lasting team and club culture.
Continue developing a strong recreational programme
Built a stronger alumni network.
