Since joining Imperial, I have been actively involved in the Algorithmic Trading Society, attending events, engaging with speakers, and continuously strengthening my understanding of market microstructure. As an EFDS student who is on track of a First Class degree, I have worked on trading simulations and improving my foundation in probability, statistics, and financial modelling. Trading is not just an interest for me — it is something I actively pursue.
If selected as Women in Trading Vice President, I am committed to bringing more career opportunities specifically for our female members. I want to expand connections with hedge funds, trading firms, and banks, organise focused networking sessions, and create spaces where women can speak directly with industry professionals who were once in our position.
More importantly, I want to ensure women in our society feel confident stepping into technical conversations, competitive applications, and trading floors. We are just as analytical, resilient and capable.
Women do not need to be invited quietly into trading: We need to be seen.
I will bring my full passion and genuine commitment to this role — and I will work to make Algorithmic Trading Society a platform where ambitious women can thrive.
