Hello everyone, I’m Thomas, and I’m running for Associate.
As last year’s Head of Marketing, I strengthened FinSoc’s engagement across platforms. But beyond outreach, I’ve spent the past year working on valuations, particularly within M&A and corporate strategy.
About Me
- Experience & Execution:
As last year’s Head of Marketing, I managed FinSoc’s outreach strategy and improved engagement across platforms. I focused on building consistency and fast, reliable executions. - Leadership & Responsibility:
This isn’t my first rodeo. I was also the Secretary of ICSS (Space Society), where I coordinated internal operations, events, and sponsor communications. I understand how the general committees function and, more importantly, how to contribute effectively within one. - Analytical Focus:
Over the past year, I’ve worked through valuation approaches and real transaction examples to understand how companies justify pricing, structure deals, and defend their assumptions.
My Concept for ICFS
- Structured Finance Lecture Series:
I want to help establish a regular lecture stream across core areas of finance, making technical learning more structured and accessible. - More Focused Deal Breakdowns:
I aim to help organise clearer, more analytical discussions around real transactions, ensuring we go beyond headlines and properly understand the rationale and numbers behind them. - Reliable Committee Support:
I will contribute wherever needed across teams, whether that’s event coordination or internal projects, ensuring whatever I do is helpful and consistent.
I’m ready to take on the responsibility and contribute meaningfully to the society’s direction.
