Heyyy! It’s very 🧊 to meet you (again)! 💫

For those who don’t know me yet, my name is Candy 🍬 (yes, that’s really my name), and I’m so excited to be running again for Deputy Ice Manager for the upcoming year 🩵

Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of serving as Skating Vice President (2025–26), and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences during my time at Imperial so far. Therefore I believe that I have the discipline, teamwork, and responsibility to become your next Deputy Ice Manager. This role has given me hands on experience in supporting members of all abilities, coordinating with the committee, and ensuring everything runs smoothly both on and off the ice.

As a med student, I’ve learned to balance high pressure academics with meaningful extracurricular commitments, like skating. My background in rollerblading continues to support my growth on the ice. Most importantly, I really care about the skating community within the society. I want every member to feel supported, encouraged, and excited to improve. Let’s keep building on the momentum we’ve created this year and glide toward an even stronger and more confident team ⛸️✨
