I am Sun Young Li. I care about your daily experience at Imperial. Clean spaces help you focus. Green spaces help you breathe.

We spend long hours in lecture theatres. We need clean air. We need focus. Plants deliver both.

My Plan

- Install 50 new plants across Huxley common areas by end of term

- Organize weekly 30-minute gardening sessions every Thursday 5pm

- Launch seasonal Math-Garden Swap events each term with themed planting

- Create a plant care rota so students take ownership

- Add air-purifying plants to lecture theatres and lab entrances

- Set up a feedback system, so you tell me what works

- Partner with Union to source low-allergen, fragrance-free plant options

Why me

I build things that last. I know exactly how it feels to work in the dark corners of Huxley. I understand student needs because I am one of you.

I know spaces need regular care. I know change happens when students work together.

Clean clothes and fresh air help everyone. Plants reduce stress and improve focus. A Cornell study says just ten minutes near nature lessens physical and mental stress.
