Vision: Dr. Me Project Officer

Hi, my name is Fumnanya and I am running to be your Dr. Me Project Officer!

I am running for this position because by volunteering with DMP this year, I’ve seen how much of a difference this project can make.

Teaching primary school students about self-care topics empowers students to look after their own health, sparks curiosity about healthcare and makes medicine feel more approachable rather than intimidating.

I have a strong interest in Paediatrics, and one of the things I really admire about the specialty is its focus on prevention. By teaching children about health and self-care from an early age, we’re helping build habits that can support their health long into the future.

As Project Officer, I will focus on:

Recruiting enthusiastic volunteers
Ensuring volunteers feel well supported and adequately trained
Working closely with the Dr Me Project Lead to reach out to schools, keep sessions organised and running smoothly
