Siya Gupta

Hello lovely people! I'm Siya, a 3rd year bioengineering student, and super excited to be running for FemTech again this year! I loved serving as sponsorship officer and helping out with the conference last month (that's me standing on the far right). FemTech is such a great cause and I'm looking forward to having a much more active role in the society next year as either secretary or events officer. A few things I would implement as events officer:

- continue the amazing events we have each year (conference, hackathon, networking fair and more)

- workshops in skills (CAD, UI/UX, prototyping etc.) needed specifically for femtech products/startups

- lecture series on healthcare areas that have insufficient and emerging research for women

- journal club

- themed fundraising events (e.g. pink walk)

- more socials!
