Cybersecurity: Chair

You may know me already from running many of our hands-on pentesting workshops throughout this year as the CTF Chair, where I've focused on increasing the quality of content that we provide week in week out (while keeping it free!). As Chair, I'm looking to push Cybersoc in its 3rd year by:

  1. Expand our event lineups
    • More academic talks, more socials, more everything.
  2. Play in more public CTF's as an Imperial team
    • There's been a few opportunities this year, but I aim to setup a formal team (for both advanced and beginner players alike).
    • You've been to the workshops, why not use your skills?
  3. Closer relationship with UCL and KCL Cyber societies
    • Edinburgh and Warwick have incredibly large socities, by having more joint events we're able to compete by representing cyber in London.
    • For you, this means: meeting more people, more networking, more opportunities!
  4. Make the London CTF Happen at Imperial
    • You and I have both been waiting for this!
    • Coming into this year with a small and fresh committee we struggled to get such a large event together, I'm hoping to lead a more experienced (and slightly bigger!) committee to make sure the London CTF happens and continues for years to come.
