Zeynep Saglam

Hello everyone! I'm Zeynep and I'm running for Promotions Officer this year! I really enjoyed being a part of our conference this year, which was truly amazing with key figures as speakers, and I would love to continue to improve ourselves next year. This year I was able to join meetings for our conference and be involved in the planning process behind the scenes. Seeing firsthand how much work and time is needed for such an event makes me want to contribute even more next year!

Last year showed me how important promotions were for the success of a conference. Reaching the right audiences was very critical, and I think we did that well, although there is always space to improve.

I believe my experience running 4 accounts with 2k+ followers and my five years of experience as a Public Relations Head and content creator for a robotics club, where I led branding strategy and project promotions, are part of some qualities that would make me a good choice for promotions. I’m confident not only in creating engaging content but in planning strategically, and most importantly, creating the right branding for our society.

Canva, Figma, and Adobe are my hobbies, and I love designing all sorts of media. I will continue to try to build a recognisable identity that reflects our society well!
