Hi, I’m Aoife and I’m excited to be running for Treasurer of Ceilidh Society! As someone who works at the Union alongside my studies, I am experienced in handling money and have mastered the dark arts of excel. I would treasure being your treasurer (I'm sorry) and adventuring into the wild west of the new system.

I’m from Northern Ireland and love trad music and (trying) to dance!! I’ve been involved with this society for the past two years now and I’m so glad to see so many people interested in Irish and Scottish culture and have enjoyed seeing more familiar (and new) faces at the ceilidhs! Whether you’re Celtic, enjoy Celtic culture, or just like dancing, I hope that you can find community within the Ceilidh society.

I would love to help build better connections and more involvement between the ceilidh and the Irish society next year and hopefully get some joint events in!! I want to help this society thrive next year and ensure the ceilidhs are affordable and enjoyable for everyone!

I am so grateful to the current committee for all their work in the Ceilidh society this year and while no one could ever replace our current treasurer, Heather (wooo Heather!!), it would be an honour to be Ceilidh treasurer next year and have your vote!
