Hi everyone,
My name is Teja, and I am excited to run for Secretary of the Economic, Finance, and Data Science Society. As your current Year 1 Academic Representative, I have experienced how clear communication, organisation, and follow-through make a real difference. I want to bring this experience to strengthen EFDS’s operations so members can fully benefit from its events, networking opportunities, career development resources, and industry insights.
As EFDS Society Secretary, I will:
- Support engagement and collaboration by coordinating and communicating academic, career, and social events clearly and well in advance
- Ensure transparency and continuity by keeping accurate, up-to-date records of meetings, decisions, and handovers
- Act on member feedback by recording input, reviewing it, and using it to improve future events and initiatives
- Promote inclusivity and participation by making society activities accessible and welcoming to all members
EFDS is a growing and diverse community, and I want to help create a society that runs smoothly, transparently, and inclusively.
