Yang Yang Huang

Hey everyone, my name is Yang Yang. I was born and raised in Madrid, and I am the current first-year academic representative of the Civil Engineering class of 2029 as well as First Year and Outreach Officer of the Spanish Society.

As Industrial Liaison Officer, I aim to maintain current industry connections as well as expand the society's partners by active networking (attending events by other clubs), cold emailing potential partners, and using current industry connections that I gained as Outreach Officer of the Spanish society (Notpla, Google Deepmind, and 2150 VC), leading to the organizaton of a panel with Rodrigo Garcia CEO of Notpla this week.

In case of being elected, my main objectives are to:

1. Target Greenergy as a new sponsor and industrial connection.
2. Strengthen connections with the Energy Society.
3. Increase field trips to external entrepreneurial opportunities
4. Organise a panel with the CEO of 2150 (Christian Hernandez), the CEO of Notpla (Rodrigo Garcia), and more, who are yet to be decided and contacted over the summer.

I will also be standing for the Civsoc Industry liaison officer, so expect more content on Infrastructure, Energy, and Bridges, because who doesn´t like bridges? Now jokes aside, I look forward to learn from the current committee and will do my best to improve the society.
