Hello everyone,

My name is Serra, and I am a second-year Biological Sciences student excited to apply for the Secretary position at Bioscience Review.

I have a strong interest in scientific communication and collaborative academic environments. Through presenting research at a symposium and contributing to student-led initiatives, I have come to appreciate how essential organisation, reliability, and clear communication are to the success of any academic platform. I am motivated to support the structure within the society by helping the team work efficiently and cohesively.

As Secretary, I would prioritise maintaining clear and structured coordination within the team, ensuring smooth communication between editors and contributors, and supporting the editorial workflow to keep projects on track. I am highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, and I enjoy working behind the scenes to ensure that ideas are executed effectively and deadlines are met.

I am really enthusiastic about contributing to this role in Bioscience Review!
