Issabelle Wong

Hello! I'm Issabelle, a proud member of Imperial Argentine Tango from Sunderland (NE England). I started as a complete novice in my first year, and have loved Argentine Tango ever since!

This year I would love to be your Secretary to keep the society running and upkeep all the beautiful things about IC ArgTango. Highlights of this society definitely include the collaboaration across the London ArgTango societies, which has been a great way for me to meet others from KCL, UCL, LSE and more. I hope to upkeep this lovely social aspect of tango for years to come!

What I bring to the table:

Previous ICU experience!

- 25-26 Materials Society Events Officer - planned a 130 person Black Tie Dinner for Materials students and lecturers under strict budget, sustainability and social aspects.

- 25-26 Wind Band Tour Manager - planning a 30 person international tour including rehearsals, concerts and performances.

- Familiar with all the Union systems (eActivities, SUMS)

Other things:

- I have a qualification in Wine, and have over 7 years of experience in hospitality, making me the perfect person for choosing rehearsal snacks!

- Over 3 years of experience of Admin work (Google Workspace, Microsoft suite) for education.

- Northerner's charm ;)
