Hi everyone, I’m excited to run for the role of Emergencies in Plastics Conference Chair!
As a member of the iPRAS subcommittee, I’ve been involved in organising many of our events this year - particularly EIP. Through this experience, I’ve seen what makes the conference successful and how to stand out in such a saturated conference space
If elected, I would work with my co-chair to centre the conference around the theme
Emergencies in Plastics: Precision Under Pressure
The focus would be on the controlled, high-stakes decision-making that defines emergency plastics. Speakers would be experts on craniofacial trauma, orthoplastic limb salvage, craniofacial trauma, and acute burn management.
I would prioritise advanced, consultant-led workshops that reflect real emergency scenarios. Alongside these, I would incorporate structured case discussions and complication management that would help delegates build clinical judgement skills under pressure.
By inviting speakers from major London/international trauma centres, my aim would be to deliver a conference that reflects both the precision and responsibility of emergency plastics.
I would love the opportunity to build on EIP’s strong foundation and take it to the next level!
